Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed details of his upcoming wedding with girlfriend Gauri Spratt, describing the ceremony as a private and simple registered marriage scheduled for July 5. The actor shared the update in an interview with Variety India, stating that the event will be an intimate gathering attended only by close family members and a few friends.
Aamir said the wedding will be held at home and deliberately kept away from large-scale celebrations or media attention. He emphasized that the ceremony will focus on personal significance rather than public spectacle, reflecting his preference for privacy in matters related to his personal life.
Speaking about his partner, Aamir referred to Gauri as a “blessing” and described this phase of his life as peaceful and fulfilling. He also acknowledged the public curiosity surrounding his relationship but expressed surprise over the level of attention, stating that personal matters of celebrities often attract disproportionate interest compared to their professional work.

The actor further added that he was unaware of how details of the wedding had leaked, noting that maintaining privacy has become increasingly difficult in the age of constant media scrutiny. Despite this, he reiterated that the couple remains focused on keeping the ceremony low-key and meaningful, rather than turning it into a public event.
Aamir also reflected on his long personal journey, describing his relationship with Gauri as a significant and positive turning point in his life. He previously shared that the two had known each other for over two decades before reconnecting later in life, eventually developing a romantic relationship that became public in 2025.
This will be Aamir’s third marriage. He was earlier married to Reena Dutta and later to filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he continues to co-parent their son. Gauri also has a child from a previous relationship. The couple’s upcoming wedding marks a new personal chapter for the actor, who described himself as feeling “complete” in his current relationship.
