VinFast Auto India has inaugurated its first 3S dealership in Bihar, expanding the electric vehicle manufacturer’s presence in eastern India. The outlet is the company’s 60th retail location in the country and represents another step in its nationwide expansion. VinFast said the facility would make its electric vehicles and related services more accessible to customers in Patna and surrounding areas.
The dealership has been established by Patliputra Motors Private Limited under the leadership of Harsh Raj. It is located on NH-30, Bypass Road, Paijawa, one of Patna’s major arterial corridors. The location is expected to provide convenient access and strong visibility for prospective buyers travelling from different parts of the city and neighbouring areas.
As a 3S dealership, the facility brings sales, service and spare-parts support together at a single location. Customers will be able to explore VinFast vehicles while also accessing after-sales assistance and maintenance services. This integrated model is intended to provide buyers with support throughout the ownership journey and address concerns about service availability as electric vehicle adoption expands.

The Patna opening forms part of VinFast’s strategy to establish a broader retail and service network across India. The company has been expanding beyond major metropolitan centres into tier-2 and tier-3 markets, where demand for electric mobility is gradually developing. Reaching 60 outlets demonstrates the pace at which the automaker is building physical customer touchpoints across the country.
VinFast is expected to use its growing dealership network to support its planned electric vehicle portfolio in India. The outlets will play an important role in displaying the company’s models, arranging customer interactions and providing information about vehicle features and ownership. A dependable sales and service network will also be important as the manufacturer seeks to compete in India’s rapidly evolving electric vehicle market.
The inauguration strengthens Bihar’s emerging electric mobility ecosystem by providing consumers with another automotive brand and an additional service option. VinFast described the milestone as part of its long-term commitment to bringing premium electric mobility closer to Indian customers. The success of the Patna dealership will depend on product availability, customer response and the company’s ability to maintain reliable after-sales support in the region.
