Audi has opened bookings for the third-generation Q3 in India, with customers able to reserve the luxury SUV for an initial amount of ₹1 lakh. Bookings are available through Audi India's website, the myAudi Connect app and authorised dealerships. The company is expected to announce the Q3's prices next month, with deliveries likely to begin after the price announcement.
The new Q3 features a more substantial design with a wider and more upright stance. At the front, it gets a broad grille positioned between split LED headlamps, along with a two-dimensional Audi logo and a silver skid plate. The SUV measures 4,531mm in length, 1,859mm in width and 1,623mm in height, with a 2,681mm wheelbase, making it larger than its predecessor across its main dimensions.
The side profile features 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and an L-shaped trim element around the window line, while conventional pull-type door handles have been retained. At the rear, the Q3 gets split LED tail-lamps with an illuminated Audi logo connecting them visually. The India-spec model will not receive the S-Line exterior package available in some international markets.

Inside, the new Q3 receives a major technology upgrade, including a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster. The cabin also features a redesigned steering wheel, wireless charging, a new centre console and a gear selector mounted behind the steering wheel. Other equipment includes a Sonos audio system, panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera.
The India-spec Q3 is expected to use a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 204hp and 320Nm. The engine will be paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system. Audi claims the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 229kph, while offering 488 litres of boot space.
With its larger dimensions, refreshed styling and expanded technology package, the new Q3 will strengthen Audi's presence in India's luxury SUV segment. The combination of a turbo-petrol engine and quattro all-wheel drive is expected to remain one of its key attractions. More details on pricing, variants and deliveries will become available when Audi officially launches the SUV next month.
