Lexus has launched the new ES 350h luxury hybrid sedan in India, expanding its premium sedan lineup with a new hybrid powertrain option. The model has been introduced at an ex-showroom price range of Rs 66.10 lakh to Rs 71.80 lakh, with bookings now open across Lexus dealerships in the country. The new ES 350h joins the all-electric ES 500e in the brand’s India portfolio and aims to strengthen Lexus’ presence in the premium luxury sedan segment.
The new hybrid sedan is positioned below the Lexus ES 500e, which is priced at Rs 89.99 lakh. Even the top-spec luxury variant of the ES 350h remains significantly more affordable than the electric version. Compared with the previous-generation ES 350h, the latest model carries a price increase of Rs 2.10 lakh. It will compete with established luxury sedans such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, and Audi A6.
The eighth-generation Lexus ES 350h is based on the TNGA GA-K platform and follows the company’s “Provocative Simplicity” design philosophy. The sedan features a redesigned front profile with a sealed-off grille area, L-signature daytime running lamps, and updated headlamp styling. The side profile gets a rising beltline and Z-shaped detailing, while the rear features a connected LED light bar and a sloping roofline that gives the car a more coupe-like appearance.

The new ES 350h is larger than its predecessor, with a 170mm increase in length, 55mm additional width, 130mm extra height, and an 80mm longer wheelbase. The hybrid and electric versions share a similar exterior design. Inside, the cabin follows Lexus’ “Clean Tech x Elegance” theme, featuring a minimalist dashboard layout, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and premium features including a Mark Levinson sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless chargers, ventilated seats, three-zone climate control, and a head-up display.
The luxury sedan comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package, including 10 airbags, surround-view cameras, radar-guided cruise control, lane-change assist, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive high-beam assist, driver monitoring technology, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, and parking sensors. Lexus has also focused on improving comfort and convenience features to appeal to buyers in the premium segment.
Powering the Lexus ES 350h is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder strong-hybrid petrol engine paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. The petrol engine produces 186 hp and 235 Nm of torque, while the electric motor generates 201 hp and 270 Nm. The combined output stands at 244 hp, allowing the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.7 seconds. With its hybrid technology, Lexus aims to offer a balance of efficiency, refinement, and performance in India’s luxury car market.
