Hyundai Motor India Limited has officially teased the second-generation Venue compact SUV ahead of its launch on November 4, 2025, offering a first glimpse of its bold new design language that marks a significant evolution from the outgoing model. The teaser video, shared on social media, spotlights the front fascia with a distinctive LED strip spanning the bonnet, flanked by C-shaped daytime running lights integrated into the headlamp assembly and a larger, squared-off grille with horizontal slats, drawing inspiration from Hyundai's global lineup like the Creta and Ioniq 9. This redesign aims to inject a more mature, premium aesthetic into the sub-4-metre segment, where the Venue has been a bestseller since its 2019 debut, amassing over 600,000 units sold in India and ranking second only to the Creta in Hyundai's portfolio.
Spy shots and undisguised test mules recently captured in India reveal comprehensive exterior updates, including redesigned quad-LED headlamps, a sculpted bumper with silver skid plates for added ruggedness, functional roof rails, and fresh alloy wheels up to 16 inches. At the rear, connected LED taillights with blacked-out panels and a sculpted tailgate maintain the sleek profile, complemented by flared wheel arches and a blacked-out roof for an athletic stance. These changes position the new Venue to compete aggressively with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Kia Sonet, emphasising urban versatility with subtle off-road cues. Production has already commenced at Hyundai's Talegaon plant in Maharashtra, signalling readiness for high-volume demand during the festive season.
Inside, the cabin receives a modern overhaul with a seamless curved dual 10.25-inch display setup for the infotainment and digital instrument cluster, a reworked dashboard layout, ambient lighting, and premium upholstery. Expected features include Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for semi-autonomous driving, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, rear AC vents, and multiple Type-C USB ports—elevating safety and connectivity to segment-leading levels. An N Line sporty variant is also in development, promising enhanced dynamics for enthusiasts.

Powertrain options are anticipated to carry over from the current model for continuity, featuring a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (83 hp/114 Nm), a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120 hp/172 Nm), and a 1.5-litre diesel (116 hp/250 Nm), paired with five- or six-speed manuals, an iMT, or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Pricing is projected to start around Rs 8 lakh and extend to Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom), a modest hike reflecting the added tech and refinements. With sub-4m SUV sales surging—led by the Nexon at over 20,000 units monthly—the 2025 Venue is poised to reclaim market share, blending Hyundai's signature efficiency with bolder styling and smarter features to appeal to young families and urban adventurers alike.
