Yezdi Motorcycles has teased an upcoming motorcycle ahead of its official launch scheduled for April 23, sparking speculation that the model could be a new-generation scrambler. The teaser, released on social media, offers minimal details but hints at a fresh addition to the brand’s lineup, generating interest among enthusiasts and industry observers.
The company, which operates under Classic Legends, has not confirmed the exact model or specifications. However, the timing of the reveal coincides with the launch of the BSA Scrambler 650 in India, leading to speculation that the upcoming Yezdi motorcycle could share its platform or engineering components with the BSA offering.
The teaser caption, “Well, at least it’s not 69 days to go,” has further fueled curiosity, as the number “69” is associated with existing Yezdi models powered by a 334cc engine. This suggests that the new motorcycle may feature a different and possibly larger engine, indicating a shift in positioning within the brand’s portfolio.

Currently, Yezdi’s lineup includes scrambler, roadster, and adventure motorcycles, with the latter two receiving updates in 2025. The scrambler model, however, has not seen a recent upgrade and continues to be powered by a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This has strengthened speculation that the upcoming launch could be a significant refresh or an entirely new scrambler variant.
If the new model is indeed based on the BSA Scrambler 650 platform, it is expected to feature a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This engine is capable of producing around 45 horsepower and 55 Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox, offering a notable performance upgrade over the current model.
While the company has yet to officially confirm any specifications, the teaser has successfully built anticipation ahead of the April 23 launch. Industry watchers believe the new motorcycle could play a key role in expanding Yezdi’s presence in the mid-capacity segment, as competition intensifies in India’s premium motorcycle market.
