Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) unveiled the CB350C Special Edition, a captivating addition to its premium 350cc lineup, priced at ₹2.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Available for booking through HMSI’s BigWing dealerships and online portal, this retro-inspired motorcycle is set to hit showrooms in the first week of October 2025, aiming to captivate enthusiasts with its blend of classic aesthetics and contemporary technology.
As the premium offering among the CB350C variants—surpassing the DLX at ₹1.97 lakh and DLX Pro at ₹2.00 lakh—the Special Edition rebrands the CB350 with exclusive styling cues, including a distinctive fuel tank sticker and vibrant graphics. HMSI’s Managing Director, Tsutsumu Otani, highlighted the launch as a tribute to the CB legacy, stating, “This motorcycle celebrates timeless design and emotional resonance, crafted for riders who value heritage and performance.” Positioned against rivals like Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 and Jawa 42, the CB350C Special Edition targets urban riders and retro enthusiasts seeking a refined middleweight ride.
The CB350C Special Edition stands out with its meticulously curated retro design, featuring dual-tone color schemes—Rebel Red Metallic with brown accents and Matt Dune Brown with red highlights—that exude vintage charm. Striped graphics adorn the 21-liter fuel tank, front fender, and rear fender, while a polished chrome rear grab rail adds a nostalgic flourish. Riders can choose between black or brown leatherette split seats, enhancing pillion comfort and aesthetic appeal.
The bike’s mechanical foundation includes a 31mm telescopic front fork, twin rear shocks with 5-step preload adjustability, and 18-inch alloy wheels (100/90-18 front, 130/70-18 rear tubeless tires), ensuring a balance of agility and stability. With a 168mm ground clearance and 181kg kerb weight, it’s well-suited for city commutes and leisurely highway cruises. Recent GST rationalization efforts by HMSI have kept pricing competitive, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to accessibility in the premium mid-size segment, where it commands a growing share alongside competitors.
Technologically, the CB350C Special Edition seamlessly integrates modern features to elevate the riding experience. Its semi-digital-analogue instrument cluster delivers critical data—speed, fuel level, gear position—while incorporating the Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) for Bluetooth-enabled navigation, call alerts, and music streaming, catering to tech-savvy riders. Safety is prioritized with a dual-channel ABS system for confident braking, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for enhanced traction on slick surfaces, and an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts, particularly during aggressive downshifts. Full LED lighting, from headlamp to tail light, ensures superior visibility and efficiency.
Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing, noted, “The CB350C Special Edition embodies Honda’s bold vision for premium motorcycles, merging classic style with advanced functionality.” These features make the bike a versatile choice, capable of handling daily commutes with a claimed fuel efficiency of 35-40 kmpl and occasional long rides at cruising speeds of 80-100 km/h.

Powering the CB350C Special Edition is a reliable 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, compliant with BSVI OBD2B and E20 fuel standards, delivering 20.08 hp (15 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 29.5 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox and PGM-FI fuel injection, it offers smooth, linear power delivery optimized for relaxed touring, with a top speed approaching 130 km/h. The suspension and braking systems—300mm front disc and 240mm rear disc—provide composed handling and progressive stopping power, making it adept for urban traffic and open roads.
As HMSI strengthens its foothold in India’s competitive 350cc segment, the CB350C Special Edition not only elevates the brand’s heritage but also sets a new benchmark for retro-modern motorcycles, promising to become a favorite among riders seeking style, substance, and a touch of nostalgia.
