Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to expand its premium tablet portfolio with the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro. Both devices have surfaced through regulatory filings and leaks ahead of their expected introduction in China, suggesting that the company could announce new tablet models later this year.
According to information shared on Weibo by tipster Little White Pro, two Xiaomi devices bearing model numbers 2612CRPFFC and M367FC have completed registration with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The tipster identified the models as the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro, respectively, although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the association.
The certification reportedly reveals charging information for both tablets. The device carrying model number 2612CRPFFC is listed with support for 67W fast charging, while model M367FC could offer charging at up to 120W. If accurate, the latter would provide the Pad 8S Pro with considerably faster charging than the upcoming Pad 9 Pro.

A separate leaked live image appears to confirm the Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro branding and provides an early look at some of its reported hardware information. The software build visible in the image appears to be intended for the Chinese market, strengthening expectations that the tablet will initially launch in China before potentially becoming available elsewhere.
The Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro is rumoured to feature the company’s Xring O3 chipset, while the standard Xiaomi Pad 9 may reportedly use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. However, the processor, display, battery, camera and storage specifications of the Pad 9 Pro have not yet been officially disclosed, and the reported hardware details should be treated as unconfirmed.
The certification and leaked image indicate that Xiaomi may introduce the Pad 8S Pro before unveiling its next-generation Pad 9 series. The company launched the Xiaomi Pad 8 in India in March 2026, but it has not announced whether either upcoming tablet will reach the Indian or wider global markets. Official launch dates, prices and regional availability remain unknown.
