OnePlus has confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 15T, scheduled to debut in China on March 24. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed several key features, with a major focus on camera upgrades and gaming performance enhancements.
The OnePlus 15T will feature a dual 50-megapixel camera setup, including a Sony Ultra Vision primary sensor and a periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom. The company claims the device will support up to 7x lossless zoom, aiming to deliver sharp and detailed images even at longer distances.
A key highlight is the introduction of OnePlus’ new LUMO light-condensing imaging system, which is designed to improve light processing, depth accuracy, and overall image quality. The smartphone will also support features such as shadowless capture for quick photography and 4K ultra HD live preview for better framing before capturing images.

In addition to camera improvements, the device is positioned as a performance-focused smartphone. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm architecture, along with a G2 Wi-Fi chip and a dedicated “Lingxi” touch response chip. The company claims the phone can deliver up to 165fps at 1.5K resolution in supported games.
The OnePlus 15T will pack a large 7,500 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will also include bypass charging, a feature aimed at reducing heat generation during gaming sessions by supplying power directly to the system instead of the battery.
The device is expected to be available in multiple configurations, offering up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. OnePlus has also confirmed colour options including pure cocoa, relaxing matcha, and healing white chocolate as it prepares to position the 15T as a premium offering in its smartphone lineup.
