Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern warning against fake social media accounts inciting caste-based conflicts, urging immediate action to curb these divisive agendas. Speaking on Friday, he accused malicious forces of exploiting social media to sow discord and disrupt social harmony in the state.
While addressing a gathering, Adityanath celebrated tribal communities as the cornerstone of India’s Sanatan tradition, citing their historical roles in supporting Lord Rama against Ravana, Maharana Pratap against Akbar, and Chhatrapati Shivaji in establishing Hindavi Swarajya. He praised tribal leader Birsa Munda for his role in India’s national awakening, emphasizing the community’s enduring contributions to cultural and spiritual preservation.
The CM condemned attempts to provoke caste and communal tensions, recalling a past arson incident where a perpetrator disguised in a saffron scarf shouted “Ya Allah” to mislead authorities. “Such deceptive elements must be exposed and punished to protect national unity,” he asserted.

Adityanath criticized previous governments for neglecting tribal communities, noting that his administration, since 2017, granted revenue village status to Vantangiya villages, ensuring voting rights, ration cards, and development schemes in regions like Sonbhadra and Chandauli. He described tribal societies as living embodiments of Vedic teachings, harmonizing with nature.
Highlighting the ongoing Kanwar Yatra’s unity, he warned against forces labeling it unruly to provoke tribal communities. Adityanath also lauded PM Narendra Modi’s declaration of November 15 as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, calling it a tribute to tribal pride and a step toward stronger communication with these communities.
