Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has endorsed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s explosive allegations of widespread voter fraud in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s immediate resignation. In a fiery post on X, Siddaramaiah claimed Gandhi presented undeniable evidence of systematic vote theft orchestrated by the BJP, accusing Modi of clinging to power through electoral manipulation.
“Modi has no moral right to remain in office,” Siddaramaiah declared, alleging the BJP misused the Election Commission to secure victory. He cited a six-month investigation in Mahadevapura, part of Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency, which uncovered 1,00,250 illegal votes in a segment with just 3.25 lakh voters. The probe revealed five types of malpractice, including 11,965 fake voters, some casting ballots in multiple locations across and beyond Karnataka.
Siddaramaiah highlighted 40,009 voters with fake addresses, including thousands registered at non-existent locations like “House Number 0” or a single-bedroom house linked to 80 voter IDs. Additionally, 10,452 voters were tied to a few addresses, such as 68 IDs at a private club with no resident voters. Over 4,132 voter IDs had missing or unclear photos, yet votes were cast, and 33,692 elderly voters, some as old as 98, were suspiciously registered as first-time voters.
