A video from the popular hill station of Kasol in Himachal Pradesh has gone viral on social media, showing a group of tourists allegedly engaging in dangerous and inappropriate behaviour while travelling in a moving vehicle. The 21-second clip has sparked widespread criticism online, with users calling the act reckless, unsafe and damaging to the image of tourist destinations in the region.
In the footage, multiple men can be seen inside and outside a moving car, with some reportedly without shirts and others hanging out of the windows and sunroof. Two individuals appear to be standing or dancing on top of the vehicle as it moves through the narrow and winding roads typical of the mountainous terrain in Kasol.
Another individual is seen partially outside the car, seated on the side door while the vehicle remains in motion. The group appears to be recording the moment, suggesting it may have been intended as a social media video, despite the apparent safety risks involved for both the occupants and other road users.

The video has drawn strong reactions on social media platforms, where users criticised the behaviour as irresponsible and hazardous. Many highlighted that such actions not only endanger the individuals involved but also pose risks to pedestrians, local residents and other vehicles navigating the region’s steep roads.
Concerns have also been raised about a growing trend of tourists performing risky stunts in hill stations for online attention. Commentators noted that such incidents can negatively impact the reputation of destinations like Kasol, which are otherwise known for their natural beauty and tourism appeal.
Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident, and it remains unclear whether any action has been taken against those involved. The episode has once again reignited debate over tourist discipline and road safety in popular travel destinations across Himachal Pradesh.
