A violent family dispute linked to the Nagod royal household has escalated into multiple criminal cases, with police registering a second First Information Report (FIR) in connection with an alleged assault following a shooting incident at Parsamaniya Garhi. The developments come amid ongoing investigations into a firing incident in which a woman from the royal family, identified as Yogita Singh, was injured.
According to police officials, the latest FIR has been filed based on a complaint by Rupendra Singh, also known as Baba Raja, nephew of Nagod MLA Nagendra Singh. He has alleged that he was assaulted, abused and threatened by three individuals, including his brother-in-law. The complaint has led to the registration of a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, with authorities initiating a detailed investigation.
Police have confirmed that Baba Raja has undergone a medical examination and that the report has been included in the ongoing probe. Officials are also examining viral video footage that allegedly shows him being assaulted during the confrontation. The footage, which surfaced on social media, is being treated as key evidence in determining the sequence of events at the royal estate.

The case traces back to a confrontation at Parsamaniya Garhi, where Yogita Singh reportedly arrived to collect personal belongings amid a long-standing property dispute. She was accompanied by family members when the situation escalated into violence. During the incident, Sunita Singh Parihar, who is currently in judicial custody, allegedly opened fire using a licensed .22 bore weapon, injuring Yogita Singh, who was later hospitalised and is now reported to be stable.
However, differing accounts have emerged from both sides. Baba Raja has claimed that Sunita Singh was acting in self-defence and that she is associated with his petrol pump as a manager and business partner. He has denied allegations made by the other faction and insisted that the situation escalated after he was allegedly attacked first during the confrontation at the Garhi.
Multiple videos circulating on social media have further complicated the investigation, reportedly showing scenes of physical confrontation, damaged property and traces of violence inside the premises. While one side claims these visuals support allegations of an unprovoked attack, the opposing side argues they confirm a premeditated assault linked to a property and business dispute.
At the centre of the escalating feud is an ownership and control conflict involving a petrol pump and ancestral property linked to the royal family. What initially began as a financial disagreement has now evolved into a multi-layered legal battle involving counter-allegations, arrests and competing narratives. Police have stated that they are examining all evidence, including witness statements, medical reports and video footage, to establish the factual sequence of events.
