Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned on Monday amid protests by Opposition MPs over several issues, including alleged police action against protesting students and the alleged theft of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha witnessed noisy demonstrations as Opposition parties pressed the government for responses on the matters.

Lok Sabha proceedings were disrupted by Opposition protests, with MPs seeking a government response over the alleged police action against students protesting an alleged NEET paper leak. The disruptions prevented the House from completing its Question Hour, marking the 16th day when the Question Hour could not be completed.

Opposition parties, led by the Congress, have been seeking the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah in Parliament to respond to the police action against students. The issue relates to protests held last month over allegations surrounding the NEET examination, with Opposition MPs continuing to raise the matter during the Monsoon Session.

The alleged theft of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was another issue raised by Opposition MPs. The protests added to the disruptions that have affected parliamentary proceedings since the Monsoon Session began on July 20, with Opposition parties continuing to demand discussions and responses from the government on issues they have raised.

Rajya Sabha proceedings were also disrupted after Opposition MPs raised slogans and pressed their demands. The Upper House was initially adjourned amid the protests, while members continued to raise various issues that Opposition parties have been pursuing since the beginning of the session. The Monsoon Session has witnessed repeated disruptions, with protests over multiple political and public issues affecting legislative proceedings. On Monday, the continuing demonstrations led to adjournments in both Houses as Opposition MPs sought government responses on the issues under discussion.
