Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, grappling with profound personal loss, vowed to carry forward his father Shibu Soren’s relentless battle against injustice following the veteran tribal leader’s passing. In an emotional post on X, Hemant described the loss of his father as the “most difficult phase” of his life, calling him the “pillar of Jharkhand’s soul.” He pledged to honor his father’s legacy by continuing his fight for the oppressed and the poor. “No book can explain Baba’s struggle, but I vow to continue his fight against injustice,” Hemant wrote, promising to ensure Jharkhand remains unbowed.
Shibu Soren’s lifelong advocacy for tribal rights and social justice has left an indelible mark on Jharkhand’s history. Hemant, stepping into his father’s shoes, committed to realizing his dreams by championing the cause of the marginalized, ensuring the JMM’s mission endures.
