Ajay Devgn-starrer Dhamaal 4 has registered a steady response in advance bookings ahead of its theatrical release on Friday. The fourth instalment of the popular comedy franchise has sold over 62,000 tickets across India for its opening day, generating a gross advance booking collection of Rs 1.58 crore, according to industry tracking platform Sacnilk.
The majority of advance sales have come from the Hindi 2D version of the film. The format has sold 62,078 tickets across 9,287 shows at an average ticket price of Rs 237. The 4DX version has contributed 24 tickets from 38 shows, adding to the overall pre-release booking numbers.
Among major markets, Maharashtra has emerged as the leading contributor to Dhamaal 4’s advance booking collections, recording a gross collection of Rs 34.8 lakh, which rises to Rs 85.55 lakh after including block seats. The National Capital Region (NCR) followed with Rs 26.76 lakh in gross collections, increasing to Rs 73.76 lakh with block seats, as per Sacnilk data.

Other states contributing to the film’s opening-day bookings include Gujarat, which recorded Rs 13.66 lakh in gross collections and Rs 39.15 lakh including block seats. Telangana reported Rs 10.25 lakh, rising to Rs 27.06 lakh with block seats, while Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan recorded Rs 10.22 lakh and Rs 9.96 lakh respectively. Tamil Nadu registered 15 per cent real occupancy among major states.
Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 features an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar and Ravi Kishan. The film marks the fourth chapter of the Dhamaal franchise, which has previously featured multi-character comedy narratives.
According to the film’s official synopsis, Dhamaal 4 follows a treasure hunt involving a mysterious map marked with the letter “W”. The confusion over whether the symbol represents “W” or an upside-down “M” leads the characters into a search for hidden treasure. The storyline also includes an investigation involving IRS officer Guddu Rastogi, played by Ajay Devgn, and elements of a white-collar crime case.
