A paraglider was rescued after becoming stranded approximately 60 metres above the ground when his glider became entangled with a tower crane in China's Sichuan province, according to local media reports. The dramatic incident, which unfolded near the city of Nanchong, was captured on video and quickly gained attention across social media platforms due to the dangerous position in which the pilot was left suspended.

Reports said the paraglider encountered strong winds while descending toward Nanchong, causing him to lose control of the aircraft. During the descent, the glider's lines became caught on the jib of a tower crane, leaving the pilot dangling high above the ground. Images and videos shared online showed the paraglider suspended precariously from the crane, unable to free himself or safely descend.

The incident triggered an emergency response, with firefighters dispatched to carry out a high-altitude rescue operation. Rescue personnel worked carefully to reach the stranded pilot and secure him before bringing him safely to the ground. Authorities have not reported any serious injuries, and the operation was ultimately completed without further incident.
