The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 and Class 12 results 2026 in May, following the pattern seen in previous years. While the board has not yet officially confirmed the exact release date, historical trends strongly suggest that students can expect the results sometime during the first or second week of May.

Over the last few years, CGBSE has consistently declared board results in May. In 2025, both Class 10 and 12 results were released on May 7, while in 2024, they were announced on May 9. Earlier, the results came out on May 10 in 2023 and May 14 in 2022. Based on this trend, the 2026 results are also likely to be published during the same period.

This year, the board conducted the Class 10 examinations from February 21 to April 13, 2026, while the Class 12 exams were held from February 20 to March 18, 2026. Since the exams have already concluded, evaluation of answer sheets is likely underway, bringing the result announcement closer.

Once released, students will be able to check their marks online through the official websites cgbse.nic.in and results.cg.nic.in. Digital marksheets are also expected to be available through DigiLocker, allowing students to download their provisional scorecards instantly.

To check the result online, students need to visit the official website, click on either CGBSE Class 10 Result 2026 or CGBSE Class 12 Result 2026, enter their roll number, complete the captcha verification, and submit the details. The result will then appear on the screen, which can be downloaded or printed for future use.

Students who do not have internet access can also check results through SMS. For Class 10, type CG10 followed by your roll number and send it to 56263. For Class 12, type CG12 followed by your roll number and send it to the same number. The result details will be sent directly to the mobile phone.

Until the official announcement is made, students are advised to keep their admit cards ready, regularly monitor the board’s official websites, and avoid relying on rumours circulating online. If trends continue, May 2026 remains the most likely window for the release of the CGBSE board results.
