A detailed post-mortem examination in the death of 25-year-old Deepika Nagar has revealed severe internal and external injuries, intensifying allegations of prolonged physical assault in what was initially described as a fall from the roof of her in-laws’ residence. Medical findings also noted that the chambers of the heart were found empty, indicating significant blood loss, while injuries were present across several parts of the body, including the head, limbs, and torso. The report documented a range of external injuries, including swelling and contusions on the face, elbows, forearm, thigh, and pelvic region, along with deep abrasions and bone-deep wounds.
Additional signs included pressure marks on the chest and abdomen, bleeding from the ear, and circular injury marks on the hand, suggesting repeated and forceful trauma.Internal examination further revealed a hematoma in the brain and rupture of the spleen, both consistent with severe blunt force impact. The left kidney was also found in a pale condition, while widespread internal bleeding was observed, strengthening forensic conclusions of major physical trauma prior to death.
