IndiGo announced that it will continue operating several international flights to destinations across the Middle East and Europe on March 11, even as geopolitical tensions rise due to the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. The airline said it is gradually rebuilding its regional flight network while monitoring the evolving situation closely. The move aims to help passengers maintain their travel plans and reconnect with family members while ensuring that safety considerations remain the top priority.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, IndiGo said it is working closely with relevant authorities to manage its operations and adjust schedules when required. The airline confirmed that flights to eight destinations across the Middle East will operate alongside select services to Europe. However, the company cautioned that all flights remain subject to prevailing safety conditions and regulatory approvals as the situation in the region continues to evolve.
Among the key international routes scheduled for March 11 are flights connecting major Indian cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kozhikode with destinations including Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Sharjah, Medina, Ras al-Khaimah, and Fujairah. IndiGo also listed several Europe-bound routes in its schedule, including flights operating between Mumbai and London, Mumbai and Amsterdam, and Manchester and Delhi, indicating that the airline is maintaining selected long-haul operations despite regional uncertainty.

The airline published a detailed list of flight numbers and routes for the day, which includes services such as Mumbai–London, London–Mumbai, Mumbai–Amsterdam, Amsterdam–Mumbai, Hyderabad–Medina, Mumbai–Jeddah, Kozhikode–Jeddah, Bengaluru–Jeddah, and multiple connections between Indian cities and Gulf destinations like Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. Additional services are scheduled between Hyderabad and Ras Al Khaimah as well as Mumbai and Fujairah, reflecting the strong demand for connectivity between India and the Gulf region.
IndiGo warned passengers that flight schedules could change at short notice due to operational or security developments. Travellers have been strongly advised to verify the latest status of their flights before leaving for the airport through the airline’s official website or flight-status portal. The carrier also said its teams are proactively contacting affected passengers to assist with rescheduling or alternative travel arrangements where necessary.
The travel advisory comes as the broader geopolitical situation in the Middle East remains volatile. The conflict, now in its eleventh day, has seen escalating hostilities with Iran launching fresh attacks against Israel and Gulf Arab states, while Israel has responded with airstrikes targeting locations in Iran and Lebanon amid its confrontation with Hezbollah. Meanwhile, tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to intensify, raising concerns about further disruptions to regional travel and aviation operations.
