Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty shared a heartwarming moment with her husband, Raj Kundra, as his debut Punjabi film, Mehar, premiered in theaters. In a viral Instagram video, Shilpa, accompanied by their son Viaan, was seen receiving her “first autograph” from Raj on a tissue paper after a special screening. The playful interaction, where Shilpa quipped, “Abhi tak cheque par leti thi main (Until now, I only took your signature on cheques),” and Raj responded with a heartfelt note, “Raj loves you only,” captivated fans and highlighted their enduring bond.

Shilpa’s Instagram caption expressed her pride: “My first autograph from my forever hero. Wishing you all the best for your foray into the Punjabi film industry. I’m beyond proud of you and your honest performance in Mehar. May this film bring you huge success.” She extended her wishes to the Mehar team, adding, “Rab MEHAR kare.” The film, a poignant tale of Karamjit, a man from rural Punjab reclaiming his dignity as a father, husband, and son, marks Kundra’s bold entry into acting.

Shilpa and Raj, married since November 22, 2009, after their engagement in February of that year, share two children: son Viaan, born in 2012, and daughter Samisha, born via surrogacy in 2020. Their partnership also extended to co-owning the Indian Premier League team Rajasthan Royals. Shilpa, last seen in the 2023 slice-of-life film Sukhee, where she portrayed a housewife rediscovering her identity, continues to balance her career and family life. Her next project, the Kannada action drama KD: The Devil, features her alongside Sanjay Dutt and Dhruva Sarja.
