The 73-year-old actor addressed fans directly on Instagram on Thursday, putting an end to speculation that had begun trending online.
In the video, Kapoor clarified that the reports about his demise were completely untrue. “Hello everyone. My death news is all fake. I am healthy and happy. Please ignore it,” he said, reassuring fans about his well-being. The actor, known for his long career in Hindi cinema and memorable roles in films such as Andaz Apna Apna, emphasised that he remains active and in good health.
Kapoor also announced that he intends to take legal action over the spread of the misinformation. He said he would be filing a cyber complaint against those responsible for circulating the false claims, stressing that such rumours are harmful and unacceptable. His statement reflects growing concern among public figures over the rapid spread of fake news on digital platforms.
