The film follows three engineering students—Aravind, Varkey and Midhun—who dream of enjoying college life filled with freedom, parties and new experiences. To save money, the trio chooses to stay at the inexpensive Maharaja Hostel located outside their college campus. However, a punishment imposed by senior students leads them to an abandoned temple deep inside a forest, where they unknowingly encounter a supernatural force that later follows them back to the hostel, setting the stage for the film's horror-comedy narrative.

According to the review, the film struggles to balance its two primary genres. While the comedy sequences are described as ineffective and lacking impact, the horror portions are criticised for failing to generate suspense or fear. The reviewer argued that the film's overall execution weakens its central premise, making it difficult for audiences to remain engaged throughout its runtime.
