Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has shared a rare glimpse into her relationship with ex-husband Kanye West, saying that despite their divorce, he will “always be family.” The remarks come amid ongoing discussions about the complexities of their co-parenting arrangement.

Kardashian, 45, and West first met in 2012, married in 2014, and finalized their divorce in 2022 after Kardashian filed in 2021. The former couple shares four children: North, 12; Saint, 10; Chicago, 8; and Psalm, 6, and remain focused on ensuring the well-being of their family.

In a recent interview, Kardashian reflected on promoting West’s Yeezy boots in a January TikTok video, explaining, “We’ll always be family. We will be okay, and there’s so much love for our family. We want what’s best for our kids.” She also noted that she could not resist highlighting the Yeezy heels in her Aspen outfit, showing admiration for the footwear.

The TikTok saw Kardashian styling an outfit with the Yeezy boots, saying, “I will say, there’s nothing like a Yeezy heel. I don’t know if they ever made these or just made them for me. Kardashian has also opened up about the emotional and physical toll of high-stakes co-parenting. In an October 2025 episode of The Kardashians, she revealed, “I was pretty tested, I will say. Very tested,” describing stress-related flare-ups of psoriasis and the pressure of protecting her children amidst public scrutiny.

She emphasized her primary focus as a mother, stating, “My job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected.” Kardashian’s candid remarks highlight the challenges of balancing personal healing, professional obligations, and the well-being of her children.
