Malayalam actress Rini Ann George has sparked controversy by accusing a young political leader from a prominent Kerala party of sending her inappropriate messages for three years, including an invitation to a five-star hotel. In a viral online interview, Rini revealed that the harassment began after connecting with the leader on social media. Despite her complaints to senior party officials, she claims no action was taken, and the leader continued to secure prominent roles within the party.

Rini alleged the leader dismissed her warnings, saying, “You can tell anyone… who cares?” She also claimed he referenced other political figures accused of similar misconduct. Citing safety concerns and distrust in the justice system, Rini has not pursued legal action but spoke out to support other women allegedly targeted by the same leader. “I haven’t faced assault, but I’ve learned through friends that other women have been harassed,” she said.

Following her allegations, Rini reported facing severe cyberattacks since Wednesday night. She warned that continued cyberbullying might force her to reveal the leader’s identity. Several women have reportedly contacted her, sharing similar experiences of harassment by the accused. Rini urged other victims to come forward, stating she is unafraid of the consequences.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala has pointed fingers at Congress MLA Rahul Mankoottil, staging protests outside his Palakkad office and demanding his resignation. Clashes erupted as police intervened to disperse the crowd. The Palakkad District Congress Committee stated they have received no formal complaints against Mankoottil, while the Congress leadership has reportedly sought a report on the matter. Neither Mankoottil nor the Congress has issued an official statement.

Rini insists her intention is not to gain media attention but to expose the “criminal” leader. She remains undecided on legal action but is resolute in amplifying the voices of other alleged victims.
