Sunny Deol’s Border 2 witnessed its first single-digit collection on Day 11 at the domestic box office. The war drama, which released on the eve of Republic Day, earned Rs 5.75 crore on its second Monday (February 2), taking its total India net collection to Rs 281 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
The film enjoyed a massive opening week, raking in Rs 224.25 crore, boosted by the extended Republic Day weekend. After a slight weekday dip, Border 2 picked up momentum again in its second weekend, collecting Rs 10.75 crore on Friday, Rs 17.75 crore on Saturday, and Rs 22.5 crore on Sunday.
Republic Day proved to be the film’s biggest contributor, with Monday recording a staggering Rs 59 crore, the highest single-day haul since release.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that Border 2 crossed the Rs 300 crore mark domestically after its second weekend, further cementing its blockbuster status. The film has also surpassed the opening weekend figures of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, and Krishan Kumar, and serves as a sequel to JP Dutta’s iconic 1997 war film Border With weekday numbers expected to remain steady, all eyes are now on how Border 2 performs in the coming days as it inches closer to new box-office milestones.
