The makers of the highly anticipated Bollywood film Cocktail 2 have unveiled the first song from the movie, titled Jab Talak, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna. Set against a picturesque beach backdrop, the peppy track showcases the trio’s dance moves, promising to be a visual treat for audiences. Sung by Arijit Singh and Akasa, the song’s music is composed by Pritam, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, dressed in vibrant summer attire, bring energy and charm to the song’s beach setting. Shahid Kapoor joins them, displaying his signature dance skills and on-screen charisma. The song’s playful choreography and fun sequences evoke nostalgia, drawing comparisons to the popular track Tum Hi Ho Bandhu from the original Cocktail, thanks to its similar lighthearted and scenic elements.

The music video features a mix of hide-and-seek antics and mischievous fun, emphasizing camaraderie and youthful energy. The trio’s chemistry is evident, creating a lively atmosphere that mirrors the carefree tone of the first film while adding a contemporary twist. Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 completed its shoot in January. Kriti Sanon previously described the sequel as a refreshing continuation of the original, noting that it addresses modern relationships and contemporary social dynamics while retaining the visual appeal that made Cocktail a hit over a decade ago. She praised the chemistry with Shahid and Rashmika, adding that Adajania’s unique energy made the shoot an enjoyable experience.
