The upcoming Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro have surfaced in fresh leaks revealing detailed specifications, pricing, and features ahead of their expected launch in late May or early June. The devices are likely to succeed the previous generation Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro, and early information suggests notable upgrades in performance, display, and battery capabilities.
According to a Dealabs report, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high pixel density. The Pro variant may come with a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel, offering a smoother 144Hz refresh rate. Both devices are designed to deliver sharp visuals and fluid performance, with the Pro model targeting premium users who prioritise display quality and responsiveness.
Under the hood, the standard model is tipped to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro could feature the more advanced 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. These chipsets are expected to deliver strong performance gains, especially in multitasking and gaming. Both phones may include 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and offer up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage for faster data access and improved efficiency.

Both are expected to include a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 32-megapixel front camera is also anticipated for selfies and video calls.
Battery capacity is another area where the two models may differ significantly. The standard Xiaomi 17T is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, while the Pro variant could house a larger 7,000mAh battery with faster 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Both devices are likely to run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and support modern connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7.
Pricing leaks suggest the Xiaomi 17T could be priced around EUR 749 (approximately ₹83,000), while the Xiaomi 17T Pro may cost around EUR 999 (roughly ₹1.11 lakh). Other reports indicate slightly varied pricing across global markets, including the US and India. Both smartphones are expected to launch in Black, Blue, and Purple colour options, positioning them as competitive offerings in the premium smartphone segment.
