Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has confirmed the launch of its flagship smartphones, the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s, scheduled to take place on March 30. The launch event will begin at 7 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. IST) and is expected to showcase the company’s latest advancements in mobile photography and performance. The new X300 series is positioned as a premium offering, with the Ultra variant leading the lineup.
The company had earlier teased the Vivo X300 Ultra during Mobile World Congress 2026, where it highlighted the device’s advanced imaging capabilities, including a filmmaking kit and a telephoto converter lens. These features signal Vivo’s continued focus on enhancing camera technology, a key differentiator in the competitive flagship smartphone segment.
In terms of design, Vivo has revealed that the X300 Ultra will feature a circular triple-camera module with Zeiss branding, indicating a continued partnership with the renowned optics company. The device is expected to sport a dual-tone rear panel, with at least one green colour variant, along with a flat metal frame. The power and volume buttons are positioned on the right side, maintaining a conventional yet premium design approach.

A major highlight of the Vivo X300 Ultra is its camera system, which includes a “Blueprint Original Colour” technology with 12 spectral channels. This setup is claimed to offer more accurate colour reproduction compared to existing smartphones, potentially setting a new benchmark in mobile photography. The focus on imaging innovation aligns with the growing demand for professional-grade camera features in smartphones.
Alongside the Ultra model, the Vivo X300s is also expected to debut at the same event. According to leaks, the device has been spotted on benchmarking platforms with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The processor is said to feature a high-performance configuration, including a prime core clocked at up to 4.21GHz, supported by multiple performance and efficiency cores.
The Vivo X300s is also expected to come with 16GB of RAM and run on the upcoming Android 16. While sales in China could begin shortly after the launch, possibly around early April, the company has not yet confirmed details regarding global availability. Industry observers expect further announcements following the official unveiling event.
