Vivo has announced the India launch date for its upcoming smartphones, the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE, confirming that both devices will debut in the country on May 6 at 12pm IST. The company revealed the launch details through its official channels and microsites, along with key specifications, colour options, and design elements ahead of the release. The X300 series already includes the X300 and X300 Pro, which were introduced earlier in December 2025.
The Vivo X300 FE will be available in India in three colour variants—Lilac Purple, Noir Black, and Urban Olive. The device features a slim 7.99mm profile and weighs 191 grams, with an AG finish aimed at improving grip and handling comfort. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for performance and efficiency. The smartphone will also house a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
On the camera front, the X300 FE will feature a triple rear setup co-engineered with Zeiss. This includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a 110-degree field of view. For selfies, it will carry a 50-megapixel front camera. Additional imaging features include Zeiss multifocal portrait modes, adaptive zoom flash, and a dedicated street photography mode, along with support for a Zeiss Telephoto Extender accessory.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will arrive in India in Eclipse Black and Victory Green colour options and is expected to feature a camera-inspired design with a textured finish. It will be equipped with a Zeiss Master Lenses system, including a 14mm ultra-wide 50-megapixel sensor, a 35mm 200-megapixel documentary-style camera, and an 85mm 200-megapixel telephoto sensor with advanced stabilisation. The device will also support external telephoto lens attachments for extended focal lengths and professional-grade photography setups.
In terms of performance, the X300 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and include a 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging support. It will offer advanced video capabilities such as 4K recording at 120fps, Dolby Vision support, and 10-bit log video recording for professional workflows. Vivo has also confirmed long-term software support, with five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches, positioning the device as a premium flagship focused on photography and sustained performance.
