Huawei is reportedly preparing to launch its new wearable series, the Huawei Watch Fit 5 and Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro, with leaks revealing key details about pricing, design, and feature upgrades. The new lineup is expected to continue Huawei’s focus on fitness-oriented smartwatches, while introducing improvements in display quality, durability, and health-tracking capabilities.
According to leaked reports, the Watch Fit 5 may launch at around EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 21,800), while the Pro variant could be priced at EUR 299 (around Rs. 32,700). In terms of build quality, the Watch Fit 5 is tipped to feature an aluminium body, while the Pro variant may combine an aluminium frame with a titanium outer structure for added durability. The Pro model could also include sapphire crystal protection, while the base version may use reinforced glass. Both devices are expected to offer IP6X dust resistance, with the Pro variant reportedly supporting water resistance up to 40 metres, making it suitable for advanced swimming or diving activities.
Display upgrades appear to be a key highlight of the series. The Watch Fit 5 is expected to feature a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen, while the Pro model may offer a slightly larger 1.92-inch LTPO OLED panel with higher peak brightness levels. Both displays are said to support high-resolution output and improved outdoor visibility, reinforcing their fitness-focused design.
The smartwatch series is also expected to include a wide range of health and connectivity features, such as GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, heart rate monitoring, and additional sensors like accelerometer, barometer, and body temperature tracking. The Pro model may further add ECG support and a depth sensor for advanced water-based activity tracking. Battery life is projected at up to 10 days under ideal usage conditions, depending on settings and features enabled.
