India pacer Mohammed Siraj jokingly rated teammate Arshdeep Singh after the left-arm seamer recreated his trademark “Siuuu” celebration during India’s match against Namibia. Arshdeep broke into the Cristiano Ronaldo-style jump after dismissing Jan Frylinck, drawing laughs from teammates and fans alike. Reacting to the moment in a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Siraj quipped, “Zyada jump le liya” (You jumped too high).
Despite the playful critique, Siraj gave the celebration full marks. “10 out of 10. But I’m shocked that Arshdeep celebrated like that,” he said, clearly amused by the imitation. Arshdeep later explained that the tribute was intentional. He said Siraj has perfected the move over time, while it was his own first attempt.
“Siraj Bhai has done it so many times that he now knows exactly how to do it and how much to jump,” Arshdeep said. “It was my first time doing it, and I did it for Siraj Bhai.”

The Punjab pacer admitted the excitement got the better of him during the leap. “In the excitement, I jumped a bit too much. So I couldn’t maintain my balance, and I almost stumbled,” he added with a laugh. Arshdeep also hinted that fans shouldn’t expect the flashy move too often. He noted that his usual wicket celebration — simply raising a finger and walking away — is far less demanding.
“But I will learn from him and try to do it better next time. Otherwise, my usual one is fine. It takes less effort,” he said. The light-hearted exchange showcased the relaxed mood in the Indian camp as the bowlers continued to deliver on the field while keeping the dressing room atmosphere lively.
