Dempo Goa Challengers created history in Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) Season 7 by becoming the first team to complete the league stage unbeaten after defeating UP Prometheans 10-5 on Wednesday. The victory marked Goa's sixth consecutive win of the campaign, allowing the two-time champions to finish at the top of the standings and carry strong momentum into the semifinals. Their flawless league performance makes them the first side in the tournament's history to remain undefeated throughout the preliminary phase.

Goa established control of the contest through standout performances from Alvaro Robles and Bernadette Szocs, who helped the team secure an early lead. The pair once again played a crucial role in building momentum before Abhinandh PB joined Szocs in the mixed doubles match to deliver another important victory. Their success in the doubles contest effectively sealed the tie and ensured Goa maintained their perfect record in the competition.

Despite the early deficit, UP Prometheans mounted a late response through Manav Thakkar and Yangzi Liu, who claimed victories in the closing matches to reduce the final margin. However, Goa's dominant start had already given them an unassailable advantage, allowing them to comfortably secure the overall 10-5 win and complete a landmark league campaign.
