Cadillac has taken its first major step toward a historic Formula 1 debut by unveiling the livery of its 2026 challenger in a high-profile advertisement aired during the NFL Super Bowl. The reveal, timed to coincide with one of the world’s most-watched sporting events, marked the American manufacturer’s first visual statement as a new Formula 1 constructor ahead of its entry under the sport’s next technical regulations.
The unveiling took place during the championship game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, where the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots. Cadillac’s Ferrari-powered car, whose official team and chassis name is yet to be announced, features a distinctive two-tone design, with a greyish-white finish on one side and black on the other. The bold split livery immediately set the team apart and signalled its intent to make a strong impression on the 2026 grid.
Cadillac’s entry into Formula 1 is being led by General Motors after receiving approval from the sport’s governing bodies. The project adds another team to the championship and represents the return of a major American manufacturer to Formula 1, reinforcing the sport’s expanding footprint in the United States amid growing fan interest and commercial momentum.

The livery currently carries limited sponsorship branding. TWG, the team’s owner, features prominently on the sidepods, while Swedish software firm IFS appears on the rear wing endplates. Additional branding includes Jim Beam on the bargeboards, Mexican telecom company Claro and its sister brand Telcel near the cockpit, and fashion label Tommy Hilfiger on the nosecone.
Attention now turns to the Bahrain pre-season test, where Cadillac will run the car in full colours publicly for the first time. With experienced drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez expected to lead the lineup, the test will provide crucial early data and mark the team’s formal integration into the Formula 1 paddock ahead of its much-anticipated debut season.
