The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) T10 Season 3, a high-energy tennis-ball cricket extravaganza blending street flair with professional competition, is gearing up for its third edition from January 9 to February 6, 2026, at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, Gujarat. This eight-team tournament, which debuted in 2024 and captivated audiences with its fast-paced, urban vibe, saw franchises splurge nearly Rs 10 crore on 144 players during the player auction held on December 9, 2025, in Mumbai. The event emphasises grassroots talent, with matches using a softer tennis ball for safety and excitement, drawing over 1 crore viewers in its inaugural season. Falcons Risers Hyderabad led the spending charts at Rs 1.47 crore, while defending champions Majhi Mumbai secured the priciest buy in Vijay Pawle for Rs 32.5 lakh, underscoring the league's growing investment in emerging stars.
The tournament adopts a compact T10 format, where each inning lasts 10 overs, ensuring non-stop action with strategic twists like power plays and innovative rules such as the "free hit" on wides. All 32 league-stage matches will unfold over 29 days at the single venue in Surat, culminating in playoffs for the top four teams: semi-finals on February 4 and the grand final on February 6. Matches are scheduled to commence at 6:00 p.m. IST daily, with double-headers on select weekends to maximise fan engagement. The addition of two new franchises—Ahmedabad Lions and Delhi Superheros—expands the competitive landscape, fostering rivalries across regions while prioritising youth development through scouting camps and skill academies.
