India are expected to make a few changes to their playing XI for the third and final T20I against Zimbabwe after securing an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Following a dominant 90-run victory in the second match, the visitors have the opportunity to rotate players and test their bench strength, with the final game scheduled less than 24 hours after the previous encounter.

One of the biggest selection discussions centres around wicketkeeper-batter Prabhsimran Singh, who is yet to make his T20I debut. The Punjab batter has impressed in recent IPL seasons and has been a regular performer for India A. With the series already decided, the team management could hand him an opportunity in place of either Ishan Kishan or Abhishek Sharma to assess his credentials at the international level.

India may also be forced into a change in the pace department after Prince Yadav suffered a hamstring injury during the second T20I and was unable to complete the match. If he is unavailable, Ashok Sharma, who featured in the opening game of the series, is likely to return to the side alongside Mayank Yadav and Yash Thakur, who impressed in the previous fixture.

The batting order could also see further experimentation, with all-rounder Harsh Dubey or Suryansh Shedge emerging as possible inclusions. Shivam Dube and Rinku Singh have had limited opportunities with the bat in the first two matches, prompting the team management to consider giving other squad members valuable game time before future assignments.

India's probable XI for the third T20I includes Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan (w), Shreyas Iyer (captain), Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh or Suryansh Shedge, Shivam Dube or Harsh Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma and Mayank Yadav. Zimbabwe are expected to retain a similar combination featuring Brian Bennett, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Ben Curran, Dion Myers, captain Sikandar Raza, Ryan Burl, Wessly Madhevere, Brad Evans, Newman Nyamhuri, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani.

Having already clinched the series, India will look to complete a clean sweep while also evaluating the depth of their squad. Zimbabwe, meanwhile, will aim to end the series on a positive note by avoiding a whitewash and producing an improved performance in front of their home supporters at the Harare Sports Club.
