Ajith Kumar escaped unhurt after reportedly being involved in a car crash during a high-speed endurance racing event in Europe. According to a Filmibeat report, the actor was participating in a racing competition when his car reportedly lost control and collided with another vehicle. Despite the accident, Ajith did not suffer any serious injuries.

Ajith, who has pursued motorsport professionally alongside his acting career, has participated in several international racing events. His racing credentials include appearances in the Formula Asia BMW Championships, Creventic 24H Series, GT4 European Series and other endurance competitions. The latest incident adds to a series of crashes the actor has experienced on racing circuits in recent years.

In 2025, Ajith was involved in a crash during the GT4 European Series in Italy but escaped without injuries. Earlier that year, he also survived a double-rollover accident during the Porsche Sprint Challenge in Valencia, Spain. He had previously been involved in a crash during practice for the 24H Dubai endurance race. Despite these incidents, he has continued to participate in professional motorsport events.

Ajith has previously spoken about his approach to racing and dealing with accidents. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, he explained that his immediate concern after a crash is to assess whether he or the car has been seriously affected. He also acknowledged the concern his racing creates for his family, while maintaining that crashes are an inherent part of motorsport.

The actor has established himself as one of the few Indian film personalities to compete regularly in international motorsport. His involvement in racing has remained a significant part of his life outside cinema, even as he continues to work on major Tamil film projects. On the professional front, Ajith was last seen in Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly. He is set to appear next in Daredevil, which is directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
