Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu declared that his party was founded to uplift people’s lives, speaking at the closing of the TDP’s three-day Mahanadu conclave in Kadapa.
Addressing a massive crowd in the YSR family’s stronghold, Naidu asserted, “This gathering proves Kadapa is TDP’s fortress.” He credited Rayalaseema for delivering 45 of 52 assembly seats to the NDA in the 2024 elections.
Naidu touted TDP as a model for governance and party management, contrasting it with the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), which he accused of “atrocities, murders, and oppression” that set Andhra Pradesh back by 30 years.

He highlighted the state’s Rs 10 lakh crore debt, with Rs 40,000 crore paid annually in interest, blaming the YSRCP’s mismanagement.
Buoyed by the turnout, Naidu reaffirmed TDP’s commitment to development, citing initiatives like the Deepam-2 scheme and plans to make Andhra a hub for AI and semiconductors. As the 2024 mandate strengthens TDP’s grip, Naidu’s fiery speech signals a bold vision for the state’s future.
