The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a large-scale public outreach campaign across Gujarat to mark 12 years of Narendra Modi in office, with a series of developmental, welfare and awareness programmes scheduled between June 5 and June 21. The initiative will focus on highlighting governance achievements and strengthening the party’s grassroots connect across the state.
Announcing the campaign, BJP Gujarat Chief Spokesperson Dr Anil Patel said the programme will be built around the theme of “12 years of continuous development, trust and public welfare.” As part of the outreach, party workers and leaders will directly engage with citizens to present what the party describes as a transparent “report card” of central government initiatives over the past decade.
The campaign is scheduled to begin on June 5, coinciding with World Environment Day, and will conclude on June 21, observed globally as International Yoga Day. During this period, the BJP plans to organise cleanliness drives, public welfare camps and conferences under the broader “Viksit Bharat” vision, alongside structured interactions with community leaders and influential citizens to gather feedback on governance outcomes.

Environmental sustainability has been identified as a central theme of the programme, with special emphasis on promoting organic and natural farming practices among rural communities. The party also plans to undertake awareness campaigns aimed at encouraging environmentally responsible agricultural methods, particularly in farming regions across Gujarat.
A major component of the initiative will be a plantation drive across approximately 50,000 polling booths in the state under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” programme. The drive is expected to involve both party workers and citizens, combining environmental action with political outreach as part of the broader campaign narrative.
Overall, the initiative is positioned as a large-scale mobilisation effort aimed at reinforcing the party’s governance messaging while deepening engagement with voters through development-focused public programmes across the state.
