The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Naveen Jaiswal, the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Hatia, as its Chief Whip in the Jharkhand Assembly. Additionally, Raj Sinha of Dhanbad and Nagendra Mahto of Bagodar have been designated as whips. The announcement was made by Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, who extended his congratulations to the appointees.
Jaiswal expressed his commitment to meeting the expectations of the party leadership. He emphasized his intention to raise issues pertinent to the youth, women, and marginalized communities during the upcoming monsoon session of the assembly, scheduled from August 1 to 7.
Former Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri also congratulated Jaiswal, expressing confidence in his ability to effectively represent the party and the people in the forthcoming assembly session.
