The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released its official list of star campaigners for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, featuring an impressive lineup of national and regional heavyweights. The two-phase elections—scheduled for November 6 and November 11, with counting on November 14—are being viewed as a critical political test for both the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition Mahagathbandhan. The BJP’s list highlights the party’s strategy to combine national charisma with state-level organisational strength in its bid to consolidate voter support across Bihar.
Leading the campaign front are top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Other senior leaders named include Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Giriraj Singh, Yogi Adityanath, Devendra Fadnavis, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Mohan Yadav. The inclusion of Smriti Irani and Rekha Gupta underscores the party’s effort to balance gender representation among its campaign faces, while leaders such as Keshav Prasad Maurya and C.R. Patil bring organisational depth from Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, respectively.
Prominent Bihar-based figures — Samrat Choudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Renu Devi, Prem Kumar, Nityanand Rai, and Radha Mohan Singh — are expected to lead the state-level outreach efforts. The list also features Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Satish Chandra Dubey, and Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, representing a blend of cabinet ministers, MPs, and regional influencers. The BJP’s campaign will reportedly centre around themes of infrastructure development, women’s empowerment, and governance reforms, while highlighting the Modi government’s welfare schemes, including PM Awas Yojana and Ayushman Bharat.

According to senior party insiders, the Prime Minister will headline multiple mega rallies across Patna, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur, while Amit Shah and Yogi Adityanath will spearhead targeted campaigns in constituencies facing tight contests. Political analysts note that the BJP’s broad-based list reflects an intent to project unity and strength amid shifting alliances and growing voter scrutiny. With the opposition still negotiating seat-sharing within the Mahagathbandhan, the BJP appears poised to launch a full-fledged, high-octane campaign aimed at retaining Bihar within the NDA fold.
