The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has officially released the admit cards for the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment exams 2025. Candidates who have applied for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) can now download their hall tickets from the board’s official website, wbpolice.gov.in. The admit cards have been issued for both the Armed and Unarmed branches under this recruitment drive.
This recruitment aims to fill a total of 464 SI vacancies within the West Bengal Police. Out of these, 200 positions are for the Armed Branch, while 264 are for the Unarmed Branch—comprising 164 vacancies for male candidates and 100 for female candidates. These openings form part of the state’s continuous efforts to strengthen its police workforce and enhance law enforcement coverage across districts.
To download the admit card, candidates need to visit wbpolice.gov.in, click on the link for “WB Police SI Admit Card 2025,” and log in using their registered credentials. Once displayed on the screen, the admit card should be downloaded and printed for use during the physical tests. The board has advised all candidates to verify the details on their admit cards, including personal information, test venue, and schedule, before appearing for the exam.

The Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test are key qualifying stages in the selection process for Sub-Inspectors. Candidates must clear both stages to become eligible for subsequent rounds, which include written and interview phases. The WBPRB has urged all participants to adhere strictly to the guidelines mentioned in their admit cards and arrive at their test centers well in advance.
