The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the Higher Secondary (HS) Semester III Date Sheet 2027 for Class 12 students. According to the official schedule, the Semester III examinations will be conducted from September 21 to October 7, 2026. The examinations will be held in a single shift from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), forming an important component of the state's revised Higher Secondary examination system.
The examination schedule covers students across all streams, including Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational courses. WBCHSE has advised students to carefully review the timetable for their respective subjects and begin preparations accordingly. The council has also stated that admit cards will be issued online before the commencement of the examinations, and students will be required to collect them through their respective schools.
The Semester III examination forms a key stage of the Higher Secondary curriculum under the semester-based assessment pattern introduced by the council. Conducted through objective-type questions, the examination is designed to evaluate students' understanding of the prescribed syllabus while ensuring a uniform assessment process across all affiliated institutions in the state.

Candidates have been instructed to report to their examination centres well before the scheduled time and carry their admit cards along with any other documents specified by the council. Students are also expected to strictly follow the examination guidelines issued by WBCHSE regarding permitted materials, reporting time and conduct inside the examination hall.
School authorities have been asked to ensure the timely distribution of admit cards and provide students with all necessary information related to the examination schedule and centre allocation. The council is expected to publish additional instructions, including subject-wise details and any updates, through its official communication channels before the examinations begin.
With the release of the date sheet, students now have a clear timeline to complete their preparations for the Semester III examinations. WBCHSE has encouraged candidates to rely only on official notifications for examination-related information and adhere to the prescribed schedule to ensure the smooth conduct of the Higher Secondary Semester III examinations across West Bengal.
