Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will begin a three-day official visit to Karnataka, Goa, and Kerala from May 29 to May 31, during which he will participate in a series of governmental, cultural, and institutional events across the three southern states, according to an official statement.
On May 29, the Vice President will arrive in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where he will take part in the global celebrations marking 45 years of the Art of Living Foundation. The event is expected to bring together participants from India and abroad to commemorate the organisation’s long-standing work in wellness, education, and social initiatives. Later the same day, he will travel to Davangere to attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of the University BDT College of Engineering.
On May 30, Radhakrishnan will visit Goa, where he will participate in the Statehood Day celebrations in Panaji, marking the anniversary of Goa’s full statehood within the Indian Union. Following the official function, he is also scheduled to visit the CSIR–National Institute of Oceanography in Goa. His engagements in the state are expected to focus on institutional interaction and scientific research initiatives.

On May 31, the Vice President will visit Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Temple in Karnataka, a major religious pilgrimage centre known for its cultural and spiritual significance. Later in the day, he will inaugurate the SIRI Industrial Park in Belthangady, aimed at boosting local industrial development and employment opportunities. The visit highlights a combination of spiritual and economic engagements in the state.
In the final leg of his tour, Radhakrishnan will travel to Kerala to attend the 140th foundation anniversary celebrations of the Deepika Malayalam Daily in Kottayam, one of the region’s oldest newspapers. He will also visit Kannur to participate in a private function organised by C. Sadanandan Master, a Member of Parliament. Officials said the visit reflects a mix of institutional, cultural, and public engagements across the three states.
