A deadly explosion ripped through a locality in Hazaribagh on Wednesday, claiming the lives of three people, including a husband and wife, along with another woman. The incident has left the local community in shock as authorities work to determine the cause.

Police and forensic teams, accompanied by a sniffer dog, are currently at the scene collecting evidence and assessing the scale of the damage. “We are investigating all possibilities, including accidental and criminal causes,” said Michaelraj S, Inspector General (IG) Operations and spokesperson for Jharkhand Police.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud blast that shook nearby houses, prompting panic and chaos in the area. Emergency responders rushed to the site to rescue survivors and provide medical attention to those affected by the explosion.
