Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday asserted that acts of terrorism can never undermine the unity and resolve of the nation, as leaders across the country marked one year since the deadly attack in Pahalgam. The anniversary was observed with tributes to the victims and renewed calls for national solidarity against terrorism.
Remembering the lives lost in the attack, the Chief Minister described their sacrifice as a lasting and sacred debt owed by the nation. He emphasized that such acts of violence, while deeply tragic, only strengthen the collective determination of citizens to stand together and resist forces that seek to create fear and division.
Reddy further stated that conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the country are destined to fail, as the people remain vigilant and united. He highlighted the resilience of the nation, noting that unity and shared resolve continue to be the strongest response to acts of terror.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also paid tribute to the victims, recalling the “gruesome” nature of the attack and the innocent lives lost. In a message shared on social media platform X, he said the tragedy remains etched in the nation’s collective memory and extended condolences to the families still coping with the loss.
Similarly, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar expressed grief over the incident, calling it a moment that “shook the conscience of the nation.” He reaffirmed that India remains steadfast in its fight against terrorism, emphasizing that the country will not succumb to fear or violence. The Pahalgam attack, which claimed several innocent lives, continues to be remembered as a stark reminder of the threat posed by terrorism. Leaders across political lines reiterated that while the pain of loss endures, the nation’s commitment to unity, resilience, and the fight against extremism remains unshaken.
