Tej Pratap Yadav, the embattled elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, has ignited fresh controversy in Bihar’s political landscape by alleging that five influential families have conspired to dismantle his political career and personal life. In a fiery post on his official X handle on Thursday, accompanied by an animated photograph, Tej Pratap promised to unmask these families and their alleged plots today, vowing to reveal their “face and character” to the public.

“In my political career of over ten years, I have never wronged or conspired against anyone. But the people of these five families tried their best to completely end my political and family life. Tomorrow, I will bring their conspiracies to light,” he wrote, escalating tensions in an already turbulent period for the former minister.

The remarks follow a tumultuous phase for Tej Pratap, marked by his expulsion from the RJD and estrangement from the Yadav family for six years. The trigger was a viral social media post featuring a woman named Anushka Yadav, claiming a 12-year relationship with Tej Pratap. The post sent shockwaves through Bihar’s political circles, fueling rival attacks and deepening rifts within the RJD. Tej Pratap denied authorship, alleging his Facebook account was hacked as part of a broader conspiracy by his detractors to tarnish his image.

Amid this fallout, Tej Pratap has launched a new political platform, ‘Team Tej Pratap Yadav,’ to carve an independent path ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. He has intensified his statewide campaigning, frequently using the term “Jaychand” (traitor) to attack unnamed adversaries he accuses of plotting his downfall. “Some Jaychands have hatched conspiracies against me. Soon, the people of Bihar will know their names and deeds,” he declared, maintaining suspense over the identities.

Tej Pratap also issued a cryptic warning to his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition, urging him to steer clear of these “Jaychands,” hinting at strained family dynamics. The announcement has sparked widespread curiosity and speculation across Bihar’s political spectrum, with observers awaiting his promised revelations.
