Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi emphasized the critical role of technology in shaping India’s future during his address at ThinkEdu 2026, a premier education and innovation conference held in Chennai. He stated that the nation’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) can only be achieved through the integration of technology in education, research, and governance.
Speaking at the event, the Governor highlighted initiatives in digital learning, AI-driven pedagogy, and skill development programs that empower students and educators alike. He stressed that embracing modern technology is essential not only for enhancing educational outcomes but also for fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and global competitiveness.
“Technology is the engine of progress. For India to realize its vision of a developed nation, we must leverage digital tools, smart learning platforms, and data-driven strategies across all sectors, starting with education,” the Governor said. He further urged policymakers, educators, and industry leaders to collaborate in creating a robust ecosystem that bridges the digital divide.
