In response to the Indian surgical strikes across 9 locations in Pakistan, codenamed Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has just starting firing artillery in Bhimber Gali in Poonch-Rajauri area. The ADG PI - Indian Army has put out a post on X confirming the same, also confirming that India was "responding appropriately in a calibrated manner."
A short while ago, India carried out targeted strikes across 9 locations in Pakistan which are believed to have housed terrorist infrastructure. Pakistan's DG ISPR, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, has confirmed that India struck sites in Kotli, Muridke, Bahawalpur and Muzaffarabad.
Bahawalpur in Pak's Punjab province is known to be the base of the Jaish-e-Mohammad, a terror outfit run my Masood Azhar, while Muridke is the known global headquarters of the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba.

These strikes come in the wake of the Pahalgam massacre where 26 innocent civilians were brutally executed in a scenic holiday spot by terrorists from Pakistan about a week ago. Both sides have significantly escalated their military positions after the attack and the world has largely cautioned restraint, whilst a majority of the countries are empathising and standing by India for the loss of innocent civilian lives.
