The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the Technician Grade 3 Result 2026, allowing candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) to check their qualifying status through the regional RRB websites. The results were released on May 29 along with merit lists, cut-off marks, and scorecards for shortlisted candidates.
The examination was conducted on March 6, 9, and 10 under recruitment notification CEN 02/2025. According to official information, more than 15 lakh candidates appeared for the competitive recruitment process, making it one of the largest railway recruitment examinations held this year.
Candidates can access the merit list by visiting the website of their respective RRB region and opening the Technician Grade 3 Result 2026 link. The merit list has been released in PDF format, enabling applicants to search for their roll numbers and verify whether they have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process.

The scorecards released alongside the results contain important information including the candidate’s name, registration number, roll number, date of birth, RRB zone, post applied for, normalized score, proportional score, category details, qualifying status, and eligibility for document verification. Applicants have been advised to carefully review all details after downloading their scorecards.
Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the merit list will now proceed to the next stages of selection, which include document verification and a medical examination. These stages are mandatory before final appointment and are intended to confirm the eligibility and fitness of shortlisted candidates for technical positions within Indian Railways.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 6,055 Technician Grade III vacancies across multiple technical departments of Indian Railways. The posts cover a range of trades, including electrical, mechanical, fitter, welder, machinist, refrigeration and air conditioning, carriage and wagon maintenance, workshop operations, and other technical support functions essential to railway operations nationwide.
